Today’s first assignment is to share a writing tip
Mine is always to be working on more than one story idea. Especially as I seem to habitually write novel length stuff, rather than shorter stories. I have roughly ten to fifteen fiction ideas in folders of their own being developed, right now. Any time I get an idea that applies to one of them, I will make a note in that idea folder.
If I’m at an impasse on my primary work in progress, I simply go work on something else until something jars that impasse loose. I have one story idea that I’ve restarted four times, now, but every time it’s given me breathing room to let my subconscious work on my primary. I also have about five works with substantial starts already made.
